Manchester City veteran Bernardo Silva appears ready to leave the Premier League side. Over the last few days, the Portuguese player has been linked to Barcelona and Paris Saint-Germain, but the Spanish side seems the favorite in the race.
A recent report from Spain reveals that Silva wants to join Barcelona this summer and is ‘crazy’ about becoming a Barça player. Additionally, the report notes that the veteran player believes his cycle at Manchester City is over, and he has a release clause of €58 million.
Furthermore, the Premier League club might want to send Silva to Spain rather than discuss a deal with PSG. According to journalist Laia Tudel Prades, PSG is not Barça’s biggest rival to get Silva.
In her reporting, she notes that due to the poor relations between Qatar and Abu Dhabi, City would prefer the midfielder to join a team other than the French team.
El PSG no es el mayor rival del Barça para hacerse con Bernardo Silva.

Even though the player and his agent know sporting advisor Luis Campos and there’s a working relationship, it seems that’s not enough to overcome the ownership issues. Nonetheless, if Barcelona hope to beat PSG for Silva, they’ll need to sell a key player. Who could that be? We’ll find out in the summer.
